If you’re a full-time student you should apply online now for 2012/13 to make sure you get your money at the start of your course.

The deadline for new full-time students is 31 May 2012.

If UCAS have received all decisions from your universities/colleges by 10 May, you need to reply to any offers by this date (unless you are applying through Extra). If you don't reply, they will decline your offers on your behalf.

Please make sure you check your email and texts for any alerts from UCAS relating to the reply date.

The Venue: Starlight Suite on Leabridge Road

Cost: £10 per student, but you also get drinks, food and entertainment with that

The London School of Accountancy and Management, wish to recruit our Level 2 and  Level 3 students (who will be completing their courses in 2012), for their AAT Level 1 professional qualification course starting in July.

They have two programmes:

1.      This is a 4 week course, for two days a week. Recruitment begins next week and will be on-going all the way through to June 2012.

2.      The other is a summer programme and will be more intense and lasts 2 weeks, five days a week. Recruitment for this course begins in June 2012 for a July start

Eligibility:

·         Aged 16 -19 (if student was 19 after 31^st August 2011)

·         Decent levels of literacy and numeracy

·        

Ineligibility:

·         Students aged 19 before 31^st August 2011

·         If you are in year one of a level 3 course, intending to come back and complete your 2^nd year. (Because of funding requirements)

Positive reasons for interested students to enrol:

·         It is completely free

·         Students can complete a professional qualification within the holidays

·         Useful if they want to become an accountant,  but do not wish to  go to university

·         In August they are hoping to start an AA Level 2 Apprenticeship in Accounts, and a non-Apprenticeship AAT Level 2 course.

·         Employers have been known to take young people on as a Trainee Accountant after completing the Level 1.

·         Can go onto to the AAT Level 2, 3, and 4 courses.

·         Good for students UCAS applications
