The London School of Accountancy and Management, wish to recruit our Level 2 and Level 3 students (who will be completing their courses in 2012), for their AAT Level 1 professional qualification course starting in July.
They have two programmes:
1. This is a 4 week course, for two days a week. Recruitment begins next week and will be on-going all the way through to June 2012.
2. The other is a summer programme and will be more intense and lasts 2 weeks, five days a week. Recruitment for this course begins in June 2012 for a July start
Eligibility:
· Aged 16 -19 (if student was 19 after 31st August 2011)
· Decent levels of literacy and numeracy
·
Ineligibility:
· Students aged 19 before 31st August 2011
· If you are in year one of a level 3 course, intending to come back and complete your 2nd year. (Because of funding requirements)
Positive reasons for interested students to enrol:
· It is completely free
· Students can complete a professional qualification within the holidays
· Useful if they want to become an accountant, but do not wish to go to university
· In August they are hoping to start an AA Level 2 Apprenticeship in Accounts, and a non-Apprenticeship AAT Level 2 course.
· Employers have been known to take young people on as a Trainee Accountant after completing the Level 1.
· Can go onto to the AAT Level 2, 3, and 4 courses.
· Good for students UCAS applications
